Merging combines two or more PDFs into a single document. It is one of the most common PDF tasks — stitching a cover letter to a résumé, assembling chapters, or gathering receipts into one expense report — and this tool does it while preserving the quality, text and resolution of every source file.
The entire merge runs in your browser, so your documents are never uploaded. Drag the thumbnails to set the order before combining. For a full walkthrough, see our merge guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?
No hard limit. You can merge as many PDFs as your device RAM allows. For typical documents, dozens of files work without issue.
Will bookmarks and hyperlinks be preserved?
Internal links within each document are preserved. Cross-document bookmarks depend on the source files — page content is copied faithfully.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
PDFelly attempts to load encrypted files. If a PDF requires a password, you will need to unlock it first using the Unlock PDF tool.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. PDFelly copies pages directly without re-encoding, so there is zero quality loss.
