Editing a PDF lets you add or adjust text and elements on a page without converting the whole document to another format and back. It is handy for small fixes — correcting a typo, updating a date, adding a line — that would otherwise mean recreating the file from its source.
All editing happens in your browser, so your document is never sent anywhere. For locking your changes so a recipient cannot alter them, flatten the file when you are done.
Drop the file onto the upload zone or click to browse.
Use the Text tool to add new text boxes. Click existing elements to move or delete them.
Click Save Edited PDF when done.
Full in-place text editing of arbitrary PDF fonts is a complex problem. PDFelly lets you add text overlays and remove existing content. For heavy text replacement, a desktop PDF editor may be more suitable.
Helvetica, Times Roman, and Courier are embedded fonts available for new text additions.
